A. No, we are a completely separate organisation. Abingdon House ltd and the SafeGuard magazine aims to raise awareness of the emergency services and the work they do. We receive regular articles from the PR and marketing departments of various regional emergency services which go towards the editorial of the publication.
Q. Is Abingdon House Ltd connected to any Charities?
A. No, we are a completely separate organisation. Abingdon House ltd publishes the SafeGuard magazine which aims to raise awareness on issues such as drugs, health, the environment, and crime. We receive regular articles from the PR and marketing departments of various charities which go towards the editorial of the publication. The magazine raises awareness of recent campaigns and issues relating to many national action groups and government bodies. All revenue generated by advertising goes to Abingdon House Ltd only.
Q. Is Abingndon House Ltd associated with any other publishing company?
A. No we are an independent publishing company, publishing the SafeGuard magazine. There are other publishing companies out there who do similar campaigns but please do not confuse them with Abingdon House ltd and the SafeGuard magazine.

Q. I have placed an order with Abingdon House Ltd and have not yet received any paperwork?
A. Please note if you have opted to receive your confirmation pack via post, it can take up to three days to get to the destination. We do urge all customers to provide an email address as this our preferred method of communication.
Q. Where can I find the details of my order that I have confirmed?
A. In accordance with the distance selling regulations, all of the details of your order are supplied in the confirmation pack which will include; details of the advertisement, the publication, the distribution, and the terms & conditions. As with all orders/contracts please make sure you take time to check through all of your paperwork carefully.
Q. Where did Abingdon House get my details from?
A. All details of potential clients are forwarded to us by reputable sources on a monthly basis or are currently available within the public domain on search engines or directories.

Q. How can I pay for the advertisement?
A. You can pay by Debit or Credit Card, BACS, or by cheque - please make all cheques payable to Abingdon House Ltd. Please call 0151 707 1647 for more information.
Q. I am having difficulty paying; can I arrange a payment plan?
A. If you are having difficulty paying please ensure you notify of your situation. We will then be able to set up a payment plan via Direct Debit or a Standing Order that best suits your budget.

Q. Can I change my artwork proof?
A. Yes, you can change your artwork as much as you like or provide your own artwork. The artwork proof that we send you is only a suggested proof based on our experience. Please refer to your paper work for more details.

Q. What are the publication distribution dates?
A. The SafeGuard magazine is distributed four times per year. The Spring edition is due out on the 1st of April. The Summer edition is due out on the 19th July. The Autumn edition is due out on the 1st of October. The Winter Edition is due out on the 21st of December. Please refer to your paperwork for more details.

Q. I have recently been contacted by a sales representative and wish to proceed with an advertisement in SafeGuard magazine, what do I do?
A. Normally we will contact you by telephone to confirm all of the details of your order are correct and to discuss the terms and conditions of the order. You will be informed that the confirmation call will be digitally recorded and this will be kept as proof of contract with Abingdon House ltd. We do also accept orders by fax confirmation, and email confirmation. Please ask your representative for more details.

Q. I have received my paperwork and I now want to cancel my order.
A. There are many reasons why you may want to cancel your order, and all orders placed with ourselves do come with a seven day cooling off period where by the order can be cancelled by post, fax or email within seven working days of the order placement date. Please note we do not except telephone cancelations as they cannot be verified.
